FLORIDA GROWN

Austin grew up around the orange groves and freshwater lakes of central Florida. Then stretching his legs to the southernmost city he became entranced by the sea and the tropical fruits, volunteering at a rare tropical fruit farm and getting in the water as much as possible. He left the keys after Hurricane Irma destroyed the fruit farm and joined the culinary circus of Outstanding in the field. Criss crossing the country for 8 years chasing summer, scoping out farms, cooking alongside the countries top chefs, tasting what every region had to offer and most of all EATING ALL THE BBQ he could handle. FLORIDAMAN BBQ is the culmination of Austin’s love of Florida, respect of local ingredients, craigslist deals, and then the countless hours of planning and building the BBQ trailer with the help of his buddies. Everything that FLORIDAMANBBQ cooks has a story, FLORIDAMANBBQ knows his farmers, & FLORIDAMAN BBQ doesn’t cut corners on quality and ingredients.
